Family Miller

After rain made us cancel our first attempted session, we scored big with a comfortable, sunny afternoon at Central Park in Roseville. Karen wasn't all that interested in the photo session......until we asked her to pull the wagon. We were able to capture a few wonderful frames before Karen actually pulled the wagon right out of the image....notice how she's leaning into it with all her might. We just received this email from Dianne, "Thank you so much for the wonderful picture and wallets. We handed them out to our relatives this weekend, and they were a huge hit!"

Santa/Pets Session and some Humans too!

Thanks to everyone who helped out and participated in the 3rd Annual Santa/Pets food shelf fund raiser. All the participants brought canned goods for donations and we delivered four bags to the local food shelf. Special thanks to Santa, who really had his work cut out with some of the 'livelier" pets. Santa was bonked in the head a few times during the session. We had to open the windows to cool off the shooting area since Santa's glasses were fogging up.
We shot the entire session using available light, a reflector and one fill light panel. This eliminates the strobe, which can startle some animals, and also gives us more freedom to shoot fast and cover more angles with those excited pets. Click here to see the Pet gallery.
